Posh Design has sponsored the Halas Hawks under-10 football team for the last two seasons. The kit goes out under the Posh Design name. The squad runs out at Halesowen most Saturday mornings. Here is why.

Local matters
Our workshop is in Kings Norton. Our showroom is in Kings Norton. Most of the team lives within twenty minutes of either. Halesowen is the next town over. Sponsoring a local junior side is a small way of putting a workshop's name where its people live.

Junior football matters
The Hawks are an under-10 side. Eight- and nine-year-olds, mostly. Football boots they have grown out of by Christmas. Subs and pitch fees and away travel that add up. Sponsorship covers a piece of the year that a parent might otherwise carry alone.

A workshop is a team too
The metaphor sounds twee but it is true. Building a bespoke kitchen takes a designer, a draftsman, a workshop, a finisher, an installer, and a project manager working together for months. Watching an under-10 side learn to run as a unit reminds the team how it is supposed to work.

What it looks like
White shirts, dark green shorts, "Posh Design" across the front. Photos every weekend on the club's Instagram. A small thing, photographed often.
