( 01: Why Posh Design kitchens )
Most kitchen companies sell doors and drawer-fronts. We design and build the whole event: the architecture, the stone, the lighting, the pantry that hides the toaster. The result is a room that works on a wet Tuesday and stops the party on a Saturday night.

Every joint, hinge, rebate and drawer runner is drawn by a senior designer. Nothing outsourced.

Birmingham joinery and in-house spray shop, with stone and hardware specified and co-ordinated by the studio. We own the outcome from brief to final polish.

Itemised quote at sign-off. No “variations” games. No nasty final invoice.

Cabinetry, finishes, moving parts. We stand behind every kitchen. Pick up the phone in year nine, and we answer.
( 02: Kitchen styles we design )
Every kitchen below is a real Posh Design project, drawn from scratch around a client, a house and a way of living. Use them as starting points, not menus.

There is no catalogue. Every Posh Design kitchen begins on a blank sheet, designed around your light, your room, your way of living. Sixty-four hand-mixed paints. A library of honed marble, rift-sawn timber and brushed metal. We render the whole room in cinema-grade CGI so you walk it six months before a hinge is fitted, then build it by hand in our Birmingham workshop.

Sixty-four hand-mixed paints. Eleven honed stones. Twenty-two timbers, from rift-sawn oak to smoked walnut. We post the whole sample shelf: chips on a silver binding, a tile of stone, a leaf of oak, a swatch of brushed brass, plus a 48-page studio book of twelve recent rooms drawn at scale. A real object, not a PDF. Free, by post, same week.

( 09: The studio · Roozbeh & Amir )
Posh Design started in 2021 in a one-room office in Birmingham. Two founders, no investors, no shortcuts.
You still get one of us on the phone on a Saturday morning. Commission a Posh Design kitchen, and you commission Roozbeh and Amir, not a sales team.

Founder · Managing Director
Shapes every kitchen brief from the first sketch through to the final reveal. A decade of drawing rooms behind him; if yours has a quirk worth solving, it ends up on his desk.

Co-owner · Production Director
Runs the workshop floor and bridges design with manufacture. The reason every drawer fits to the millimetre and every door reads as a single piece.
( How we’re built )
Most bespoke kitchens get sold in a showroom and sub-contracted out by the time the contract dries. Ours don’t. We design, draw, build, finish and fit every commission with the same team, under the same roof. There is no supplier to ring.

( The high-street pattern )
Sale signed in a showroom. Cabinets ordered from a wholesaler. Worktops sub-contracted to whoever’s free that week. Fitters booked on a day rate. The salesperson who drew your kitchen never meets the joiner who builds it, and neither of them meets the fitter who hangs the doors. By the time it reaches your house, the kitchen has changed hands three times. Then the salesperson moves on, and the warranty becomes an email address.
( The Posh way )
Your designer sits twenty steps from the joiner who cuts your cabinets, who sits twenty steps from the sprayer who finishes them. They share a kettle. The fitter who installs is on our payroll, in our van, and has hung every Posh door since the workshop opened. One signature from first drawing to handover. Eight years from now, when you ring about a new front, the same workshop will still make it. Same finish code. Often the same hands.
( Under one roof )
The full team that touches your kitchen, on the same site, in the same building, on the same payslip. The reason the tolerances read cleanly at handover rather than at the snag list.
( Why it matters )
“We’re not a brand that sells a kitchen and becomes a forwarding address. We’re a workshop. The phone rings here.”
It means we email back the same day. We turn up when we said we would. We tell you the bad news first. And eight, ten, fifteen years from now, when you want a new front for a drawer your kid once climbed into, you ring the same number. The same people answer. The kitchen never really leaves us.
( 10: Book your kitchen consultation )
( 11: Everything you'd ring to ask )
Our bespoke kitchens start from £20,000 on average, and sometimes a little lower for a galley or utility scheme. Most projects land between £40,000 and £80,000 depending on size, stone, appliances and joinery. Larger architectural commissions run to £150,000+. Every kitchen is individually quoted after a design consultation — two kitchens at the same square-footage can sit £20k apart depending on stone, finish and ironmongery, which is the nature of bespoke. No teaser prices.
Design takes 3–4 weeks. Build runs 6–10 weeks in our Birmingham workshop, then 2–3 weeks on site. Full lead time 3–6 months from first meeting to handover. We move faster than most studios because the workshop is attached to the studio, every discipline is in-house, and we never wait on a subcontractor’s diary. You’ll have every date that matters before you sign.
From our Birmingham workshop and showroom: most projects are in the West Midlands and within about an hour of the showroom. We also take selected commissions in London and up to Manchester, and elsewhere in the UK when the fit is right.
All of the above, and everything in between. Every kitchen is drawn from a blank sheet. We specialise in hand-painted in-frame cabinetry, handleless slab fronts, and material-led modern kitchens in stone, veneer and metal.
Yes. We regularly work alongside a separate architect and main contractor. Our technical team coordinates services, structural openings and tolerances directly. We also have our own fitting team if you’d like us to install.
90 minutes with a senior designer. We look at your plans (or measure your room), discuss how you live and entertain, talk honest budget, and show you recent work in a similar bracket. You leave with an indicative price band and a sense of whether we’re a fit. Complimentary.
No. We also design bedrooms, media walls and bespoke furniture. Most of our clients commission more than one room. Happy to discuss a whole-home scheme at your consultation.
10 years on cabinetry, finishes and moving parts. We visit at 6 months, 1 year and 5 years as standard. If anything needs attention in year nine, we answer the phone.
