( 00: Trade joinery programme · Birmingham )
A bespoke joinery workshop behind your name. Drawn, made and fitted from Birmingham.
( 01: Who specifies us )
Bespoke joinery for architects, designers and developers.
The studio runs a quiet, to-the-trade joinery programme for practices and contractors we have worked with for the last decade. The shorthand is the same on every project: drawn the way you drew it, made the way it should be made, fitted on your build programme.
- 01
Architects
Bespoke kitchens for architects, drawn from your set. We hold your reveal, your shadow gap and your handle line through manufacture and install.
- 02
Interior designers
To-the-trade cabinetry matched to your spec book: hand-painted, lacquered or veneered. Sample doors signed off before manufacture starts.
- 03
Property developers
A kitchen supplier for developers: multi-plot, repeat-layout joinery for prime residential and boutique apartment schemes across the UK.
- 04
Principal contractors
Contract joinery from Birmingham, sequenced inside your build programme. Measured surveys, staged deliveries, our own fitters, one named contact through to PC.
- 05
Project managers
A single point of contact, weekly written updates, and a snag list closed before sign-off. The studio carries the joinery risk so the programme does not.
- 06
Property stylists & home stagers
Showhome and dress-pack cabinetry on short trade lead times, finished to magazine-photograph standard.
( 02: How a trade programme runs )
Six things we always do.
Trade programmes differ from project to project. The shape of the offer does not. These are the things the studio holds itself to on every brief, from a single bar cabinet for an interior designer to a sixty-plot kitchen package for a developer.
( 01: Principle )
Drawn the way you drew it.
Plans, elevations and joinery sections issued before a board is cut, in PDF and DWG. We hold the reveal, the shadow gap, the handle line and the stone overhang. Anything that needs to flex, we raise in writing.
( 02: Principle )
One Birmingham workshop, one programme.
Cabinetry, paint shop and lacquer line sit under one 6,000 sq ft roof in Birmingham. Stone, glass and metalwork are specified and co-ordinated by the studio against the same build programme. No subcontract chain to chase; one team, one point of accountability.
( 03: Principle )
Inside your build programme.
Survey to template, template to delivery, delivery to install, all sequenced to the build, not to our shop calendar. We absorb a moving handover date when the wider trades slip.
( 04: Principle )
Specified to the finish.
Hand-painted or factory-sprayed; veneer-matched, book-matched or quarter-cut; brushed, satin or polished metalwork. Sample board signed off before manufacture starts.
( 05: Principle )
Confidential & white-labelled.
NDAs signed on request. Your client stays your client. We will badge the work however the project needs, and publish nothing without written sign-off from the lead designer or developer.
( 06: Principle )
Indicative trade pricing, fast.
Send a plan and a finish direction and we return an indicative cost band inside three working days. Trade pricing is set per programme against scope. No published percentages, no inflated list to discount from.

( 03: The Birmingham workshop )
Cabinetry, paint, lacquer, stone, metal and a fit-out team.
We run every joinery discipline in-house from one 6,000 sq ft workshop in Birmingham. That means we own the programme, the tolerance and the finish, with no subcontract chain to chase when a hand-painted door has to meet a marble overhang on a Tuesday. The same workshop handles a single architect kitchen, a developer multi-plot package and a designer’s white-label commission.

( 07: Trade FAQ )
Questions architects,
designers and developers ask.
Covering trade pricing, white-label commissions, multi-plot developer schemes, drawings and install. If your question is not here, ring the studio. The first call is always with a designer, not a sales line.
- Do you offer trade pricing or a trade discount on bespoke kitchens?
- We work on trade pricing rather than a published discount percentage. Our list price is the price; we structure the trade commercials inside the programme: an agreed margin on signed sales for architects and interior designers, scheme-level pricing for developers and principal contractors on multi-plot work. We will be open about the structure on the first call.
- Will you work from our drawings, or do you redraw the joinery?
- Both. If your set is sufficient we work to it directly and issue manufacturing drawings for sign-off. If you would prefer we draw the joinery from your plans, the studio has its own in-house design team and we will hand a co-ordinated set back to you in PDF and DWG.
- Can the project be white-labelled under our practice name?
- Yes. We sign an NDA on request, badge the work to suit the project, and only publish anything publicly with written sign-off from the lead designer or developer. We have delivered fully white-labelled trade programmes for several London and Midlands practices.
- How quickly can we get an indicative cost for a trade kitchen?
- A cost band on a plan and finish direction takes us one to three working days. A fully priced trade quotation against a drawing set and a finalised finishes schedule typically lands inside two weeks.
- Do you install yourselves or supply joinery to our principal contractor?
- We prefer to install ourselves. The studio carries the risk on the joinery from drawing to handover. Supply-only is possible on a case-by-case basis where the principal contractor has their own first-fix joinery team and is happy to take the install risk.
- Where do you work? Are you a UK-wide trade joinery supplier?
- Our workshop and showroom are in Birmingham. We deliver across the UK; the core of the work sits in the Midlands, with selected projects in London and up to Manchester. Further afield is possible by arrangement on developer and multi-plot schemes.
- Do you work on multi-plot developer schemes or just one-off projects?
- Both. We run one-off architect and interior-designer briefs alongside multi-plot developer programmes, anything from a six-apartment marketing suite to sixty plots in a phased build. Repeat-layout joinery is priced once and ordered against the programme.
- What documentation will we receive on a trade project?
- A full drawing set (plans, elevations, joinery sections), a finishes schedule, a manufacturing programme aligned to the build programme, weekly progress notes during the build, and a close-out pack with maintenance guidance for the end client.
- Do you carry insurance and trade accreditations?
- Contractor insurance and accreditation documents sit on file and are issued to the principal contractor on request. Please ask the studio for the current schedule before sign-off.
( 08: About the programme )
UK trade joinery, made in Birmingham.
Posh Designis a Birmingham-based bespoke joinery manufacturer running a dedicated trade programme for architects, interior designers, property developers and principal contractors across the Midlands, London and the wider UK. Our 6,000 sq ft Pershore Road workshop holds cabinetry, paint and lacquer under one roof, with stone, glass and metalwork specified and co-ordinated by the studio against the same programme, so a specifier’s drawing set leaves the studio as a single co-ordinated package instead of a sub-contract chain.
We work with architects and interior designers on one-off, fully bespoke kitchens, fitted bedrooms and media walls, and with developers on multi-plot kitchen packages, showhome dress packs and white-label apartment programmes. Trade pricing is set per programme against scope; we publish no discount percentage and no inflated list price to discount from. Multi-plot developer programmes are quoted separately against the build programme.
Coverage is across the UK. The core of the work sits in Birmingham and the West Midlands, with selected projects in London and up to Manchester. NDAs are signed on request, and contractor insurance and accreditation documents are issued to the principal contractor on request. To open a programme, send the brief above and the studio will reply inside one working day.
