( Homes and commercial spaces )

Interior renovation in Birmingham.

A kitchen that opens into the living room. Storage that gives a bedroom its space back. A commercial interior that works better for the people using it. Posh Design is a Birmingham interior renovation company bringing kitchens, fitted bedrooms, media walls and bespoke furniture together, from the first drawings to manufacture and installation.

( What we make )

One scheme, room by room

Our work centres on fitted interiors: measured spaces, considered materials and furniture made for its position. Combining rooms does not mean repeating an identical finish everywhere. A quieter bedroom palette can sit alongside a more expressive kitchen, with proportions, handles or timber details providing the connection.

Explore the detail in our bespoke kitchens, fitted bedrooms, media walls and bespoke furniture. These remain the individual disciplines within your interior renovation.

A Birmingham interior, seen as a whole

The Black Line House shows how these elements can work together. The kitchen anchors the scheme, with a hidden pantry, a media wall and fitted bedroom storage extending the same attention to function across the home. The project record brings together the brief, finished photography and Posh Design’s design, manufacture and installation work.

See The Black Line House project for the complete scheme. Bring photographs of your own rooms to the first conversation so we can discuss what a connected interior could mean for your property.

( A client’s experience )

A great experience with Posh Design. I used them recently for my living-room renovation, and previously to design and fit my kitchen. They provide outstanding end-to-end customer service and have genuine enthusiasm for what they do.

See how we work

Start with what needs to change

An interior refurbishment often begins with a practical frustration: nowhere to store things, a room that feels disconnected, or fitted furniture that no longer suits the way you live or work. Tell us which spaces are involved, what you want to keep and what needs to improve. We can then develop the layout and joinery around the whole brief.

For a home, that might mean coordinating a kitchen with the adjoining media wall and living-room storage, or fitting bedrooms as part of a wider renovation. For a business, it might mean bespoke storage, display furniture or a staff kitchen planned around everyday use, access and the installation window. The design starts with the activities the room has to support.

Agree the scope before the site programme

We design, manufacture and install our fitted interiors. At the brief and quotation stage, agree which rooms, materials, appliances and installation tasks are included. Where your renovation involves a builder, architect, electrician, plumber or other specialist, identify their responsibilities and the information they need before work begins. A shared drawing is only useful when everyone knows which version is approved.

Room readiness matters as much as a furniture delivery date. Confirm finished floor levels, wall conditions, service positions and access before manufacture and fitting are committed. In an occupied home or working premises, discuss how the work can be sequenced and which facilities will be unavailable. Timing is agreed against the actual scope and site conditions.

Our design and installation process explains the stages. The commercial refurbishment checklist helps business owners prepare the premises and brief.

Build a budget around your rooms

The number of rooms is only part of the cost. Cabinet dimensions, internal storage, finishes, worktops, appliances, lighting integration and fitting conditions all affect the quotation. A useful starting point is a room list with must-have changes, optional improvements and any work already priced by other trades. We can then discuss the decisions that matter most to your budget.

Questions before your design visit

Yes. Your brief can cover one fitted interior or several connected rooms. Let us know whether later phases are planned so the first room’s finishes, layout and service positions can be considered with those changes in mind.

Yes. We discuss home and commercial interiors through the same core services: kitchens, bedrooms, media walls and bespoke furniture. For commercial enquiries, include the type of premises, who uses the space and any limits on access or operating hours.

Photographs, any existing plans, a list of rooms and a broad budget are useful. Include your preferred timing and details of other appointed trades. You do not need a finished design: understanding the problem is the starting point.
